An Evening of Hope Cancer Benefit, underwritten by Wells Fargo, will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Florence Little Theatre. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment and Research.
Performers for the evening will include: Singer Henry “Hank” Jones accompanied by Robin Thompson on piano; Musicians Dr. Benjamin Woods, Dr. Sherry Woods and their son Chris Woods; Singer Garrett Graham and the Central United Methodist Children’s Choir; Musician Frank “Buzz” Rogers; A comedic skit by Shaw Thompson and Rebecca Kelley; Singer Rebecca Thompson and Arlene Boyd with a choreographed dance by Preston Stone and Meggie Baker; Pianist Dr. Phillip Powell; Singer and Cancer Survivor Tommy Graham; and “One Day More” performed by the cast of the Florence Little Theatre production of Les Miserables.
